Peloponnese — Autumn Grand Tour

About This Adventure

A 9-day autumn expedition along the Peloponnese coast. Warm September waters, golden light, and fewer crowds make this the perfect time to explore the legendary peninsula's ancient coastline.

Program

(Day 1): Beginning of the adventure. 🚙
We leave at 4:30 a.m. from Sofia. We travel through Larissa to Mycenae and Nafplio. We envisage a stop to explore Mycenae – the citadel that laid the foundations of Greek culture. In the evening we stay at a campsite near Nafpl: Nafplio and Epidaurus. 🛶
2day. We comb in the Argolic Bay, 3day. We bypass the island fortress Burdzi and explore the “old city”. We will also visit the ancient theater in Epidaurus, known for its amazing acous: Island Treasures. 🏝️
4 day. We leave for Monemvasia – a medieval city-fortress in which time has stopped. 5 day.Follows Elafonissos: turquoise waters, tropical sand and kayaking above the remains of a submerged ancient city.6 and 7 day Methoni and Pylos. 🌅
Panoramic trip to the southern fortresses. We will see unique rock arches, caves and Venetian architecture in Methoni as the sun sinks into mo: The Finale of the Gods. 💙
Paddle through the Strait of Sfactiria to the fortress of Navarino and the mythical beach of Voydokiliya. In the Divari reserve we will look for flamingos.8 day. Overnight at a hotel on the beach. (Day 9): Homecoming. 🚙
We start preparations for departure at 8:30 a.m. We plan to return to Sofia around 18:00.

Transport: Carpooling (~2600 km + tolls): 160 €
• Accommodation: 6 camping (~15 €/night) + 2 in hotel/house: ( ~30 € per night) total about 150 €.
